Website Terms & Conditions of use relating to www.getmegoing.co.za
These Terms & Conditions (“the Terms & Conditions”) govern your (“the User”) use of the Get Me Going (“Provider”) website located at the domain name www.getmegoing.co.za (“the Website”). By accessing and using the website, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms & Conditions set out in this legal notice. The User may not access, display, use, download, and/or otherwise copy or distribute content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the consent of the Provider.
By using this Website or communicating with the Provider by electronic means, the user consents and acknowledges that any and all agreements, notices, disclosures, or any other communication satisfies any legal requirement, including but not limited to the requirement that such communications should be in writing.
E-Commerce & Privacy
The Website www.getmegoing.co.za sells various products online. The use of any product or service bought from this Website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser/ user indemnifies and holds the Provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website.
The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address, contact phone number and email address will be made known to third parties delivering the product. Credit card details are not kept by the Provider under any circumstances.
The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may have inadvertently installed on his/her device.
The Provider will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order.
The User has a choice between Zapper or Payfast as online payment methods - the details of which will be provided during checkout.
Credit card acquiring and security
Online payment transactions will be acquired for the Provider via approved payment gateways.
Credit Card Transactions are acquired by Payfast (pty) ltd, a registered systems operator and payment gateway in South Africa. Card Holders may go to www.payfast.co.za to view PayFast’s security policy.
Online payment can also be made via Zapper, a registered systems operator and payment gateway. Zapper users may visit www.zapper.co.za to view Zapper’s security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by the Provider separately from card details.
Updating of these Terms & Conditions
Provider reserves the rights to change, modify, add or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms & Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms & Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including such changes or updates.
Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights
Provider provides certain information at the Website. Content currently or anticipated to be displayed at this Website is provided by Provider, its affiliates and/or subsidiary, or any other third party owners of such content, and includes but is not limited to Literary Works, Musical Works, Artistic Works, Sound Recordings, Cinematograph Films, Sound and Television Broadcasts, Program-Carrying Signals, Published Editions and Computer Programs (“the Content”). All such proprietary works, and the compilation of the proprietary works, are copyright the Provider, its affiliates or subsidiary, or any other third party owner of such rights (“the Owners”), and is protected by South African and international copyright laws. The Providers reserve the right to make any changes to the Website, the Content, or to products and/or services offered through the Website at any times and without notice. All rights in and to the Content is reserved and retained by the Owners. Except as specified in these Terms & Conditions, the User is not granted a license or any other right including without limitation under Copyright, Trademark, Patent or other Intellectual Property Rights in or to the Content.
Limitation of liability
The Website and all Content on the Website, including any current or future offer of products or services, are provided on an “as is” basis, and may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. The Owners make no warranty or representation as to the availability, accuracy or completeness of the Content. Neither Provider nor any holding company, affiliate or subsidiary of Provider, shall be held responsible for any direct or indirect special, consequential or other damage of any kind whatsoever suffered or incurred, related to the use of, or the inability to access or use the Content or the Website or any functionality thereof, or of any linked website, even if Provider is expressly advised thereof.
Privacy: casual surfing
The User may visit the Website without providing any personal information. The Website servers will in such instances collect the IP address of the User computer, but not the email address or any other distinguishing information. This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent at the Website, pages viewed, etc. Provider uses this information to determine use of the Website, and to improve Content therein. Provider assumes no obligation to protect this information, and may copy, distribute or otherwise use such information without limitation.
Choice of Law
This Website is controlled, operated and administered by the Provider from its offices within the Republic of South Africa. Access to the Website from territories or countries where the Content or purchase of the products sold on the Website is illegal is prohibited. The User may not use this Website in violation of South African export laws and regulations. If the User accesses this Website from locations outside of South Africa, that User is responsible for compliance with all local laws. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If any of the provisions of these Terms & Conditions are found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to give effect to the intent of these Terms & Conditions, and the remainder of these Terms & Conditions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Provider and the User with regard to the use of the Content and this Website.
Online Promotional offers available at Get Me Going online store Only. Offers available in indicated dates and times only or while stocks last. Refunds will only be given on sale price, not the original price.
Any user who enters the Get Me Going competition via a pop-up on the website (www.getmegoing.co.za), will be required to submit their personal details (Name, Email address) and accept a tick box to subscribe to the Get Me Going newsletter for a valid entry. Users who opt-in will then be added to the Get Me Going newsletter database. Data will not be sold to or used by any third party suppliers.
Gift Vouchers and Coupons
Get Me Going gift vouchers or coupons are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. Get Me Going Gift Vouchers or coupons cannot be resold to- or exchanged with any third party. Using a Get Me Going gift Voucher or coupon to purchase another Get Me Going gift Voucher or coupon is not allowed. Get Me Going gift vouchers or coupons can only be redeemed online through the www.getmegoing.co.za website.
Zapper Get Me Going discount vouchers are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. The Zapper Get Me Going discount voucher cannot be resold to- or exchanged with any third party. The Zapper Get Me Going discount vouchers can only be redeemed online through the www.getmegoing.co.za website. The Zapper Get Me going Discount Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other special or discount on the Get Me Going Website. Terms and conditions apply.
Shipping and Delivery
Subject to stock availability with suppliers and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 business day and handed over to a courier company for delivery. We offer free delivery on orders over R500 in South Africa. Orders below R500 will have a standard delivery charge of R35 in South Africa. Orders to neighbouring countries (Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Swaziland) can be done with special arrangement. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information on this service. We reserve the right to adjust delivery costs on orders over 5 Kilograms (Kg) and to remote areas.
Although we try our best to get your order delivered to you as quickly as possible orders can take from 2-3 working days for delivery depending on the destination and the size of your order. Orders placed on weekends and public holidays will be attended to on the first business day thereafter. You will receive your tracking number via email once the order has been dispatched. The courier company will deliver between 8AM and 5PM Monday to Friday. Kindly check we have the correct address and ensure you are either at home during delivery hours or that you use your work address. Should you not be at home at the time of delivery, the courier company will leave a calling card with a telephone number to re-arrange delivery
We will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order and will ensure that goods arrive at your chosen delivery address in the same good order. For any queries regarding your order please contact us via email: email@example.com
For very remote areas not serviced by standard couriers, we will deliver to the nearest town to you that is accessible by our couriers within their normal routes. In these circumstances, we will be in contact with you to arrange an alternative address. Please take note that shipping to neighbouring countries to South Africa might take longer.
Refund and Return Policy
We strive to ensure the stock levels are 100% accurate, however this may not always be possible. Should it happen that any product is out of stock, we will either offer you an equivalent product, notify you how long it will take for new stock to arrive, or provide you with a full refund within 30 days.
If on receiving your order you are not satisfied with your purchase, depending on the circumstance and date of the purchase, please let our customer service team know (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we will either replace, refund or repair the item, provided the item is in its original condition (not been used) and original packaging. Although seldom charged, we reserve the right to charge a 10% administration fee for returned orders should the returns process incur significant administration expenses.
Cancelled orders on the e-commerce facility will be refunded after deduction of a 10% charge for administration costs. The Provider reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the Provider's standards. Should the Provider exercise this right, the User will receive a full refund with no deductions.

Returns Policy - Consumables
This pertains to everything listed under our food categories i.e. Food & Drink. Should you order a perishable item and have changed your mind, you will not be able to return the item. While we do our best to provide as much information on a product and only list quality products, we are not able to refund or exchange items due to public and food safety regulations. If, however, your perishables have arrived damaged or expired we will replace or refund when we or the supplier are at fault, according to our Refund Policy.
Support for repairs within warranty or general repairs may vary according to the availability of support from local agents. We will deal with each case individually.
